A Gloucester native, Allison Morrissey is a potter working out of Cape Ann, MA, that makes hand-crafted functional pottery and teaches multilevel ceramic classes at Cynthia Curtis Pottery Studio in Rockport. Using a high fire stoneware, all her pieces are food, oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe. She mixes all her own glazes, recycles every last bit of clay, and continuously finds inspiration in all of the natural beauty of Cape Ann.
